David H. Moyer

DAVID H. MOYER, 70, OF BOYERTOWN David H. Moyer, 70, of Boyertown, husband of Gayle S. (Weller) Moyer, passed away peacefully to be home with the Lord on March 3, 2015 at Pennsburg Manor. Born in New Berlinville, he was a son of the late Dorothy (Houck) and Melvin Moyer. He worked for the Borough of Boyertown at the water treatment plant for 17 years as a technician. During that same time David worked part-time for Sunoco Gas Station in Bechtelsville. He enjoyed hunting and trap shooting. He was also a former member of the Bally Golf League. Surviving in addition to his wife of 45 years are two daughters, Brenda, wife of Edward Conbeer Jr. of Pottstown and Pamela, wife of Bill Mathis of Collegeville; three grandsons, Edward Conbeer III, Ryan Mathis, whom they called him “Beepa”, and Michael Mathis; one granddaughter, Julie Mathis; five sisters, Grace, Shirley, Betty, Myrtle and Nancy, and three brothers, Lewis, Gerald and Terry. He was predeceased by one brother Melvin. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Morrell Funeral Home Inc., 124 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA. A viewing will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. Monday morning at the funeral home. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Boyertown Lions Community Ambulance, 2 East Second Street, Boyertown, PA 19512.
