Although it's been 7 years since David's passing, I still think of and miss him often. When the time comes, I can't wait to see him in heaven. For the rest of my life, I will remember him.

I'm sorry it took so long to write something I couldn't bring myself to doing this until now. David A.K.A. bobi was the most amazing person on earth. He taught how not to be afraid about life. He would literally jump on or at anything. He was the kindest person and the most loving person as well he always thought of others before himself. Even if people didn't know who he was he bring smiles to his face. He made everyone feel out of shape. Even if David said he was out of shape that would be me in my best shape. Me and David would just sit in my room and talk for hours about nothing because it didn't matter what we were talking about it was just fun. We would drive pretty much everywhere as well blasting music as loud as we could just being ourselves not caring what people thought about us. David was and will always be my best friend. David I miss you with everything in me and there is not a second throughout my day that I don't think about you.

There isn't a solitary thing that I can say against Dave. Unfailingly, seeing him on campus was a pleasure and brought a little more joy to my day. I am very sorry to hear about his untimely departure.
Peace be with you.

I never had the privilege to meet David, but I am sad to hear about his death, as his mother expressed the strongest pride I have ever seen in being a parent to her children. She would glow in expressing the blessing of having such "wonderful children", sharing beautiful stories about her connection with each of her kids. When I would ask about David, I grew to appreciate hearing about his dedication to learn, helpfulness towards others and his loyal connection with his religious youth group. I am deeply saddened for the whole family and I cannot imagine the unbearable ache living inside them. I am hopeful the Waight family will be met kindness and receive gentle words, selfless behavior, attentive minds and compassionate hearts from each person within their community. As one of their friends, family, church members, neighbors, co-workers or acquaintances, I hope they find support wherever they are each day in experiencing this hard journey.

I didn't know him to well though he was almost always happy when I saw him. He was quiet at times, but he was nice. I first met him at the bouldering wall where he was climbing on the ceiling. He was having so much fun. I'm going to miss him.

David was a friend of mine. Fond memories were when we worked together at Lottie and also Floormates back during the First semester of our Sophomore Year. He was a good fellow who built me up as we had gone through some similar situations and helped me through some terribly tough situations. Forever will he be missed. Thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May God be with you all.

I had the pleasure of meeting him on several occasions when i visited Messiah before committing, one of them being on the day of my music audition. He had the biggest smile and the sweetest heart.
Even later in the year, my music teacher, after visiting Messiah, came back to tell us all about this student there that really impacted him. And here it was David.
Lots of love and prayers to everyone. xxxxx
