The Schaeffer Family invited me to be their guest in the summer of 1968. I was showed around in Kutztown, Allentown and Reading and Mr Schaeffer even took me to the State Capitol (D.C.) to attend bill readings. I remember his passion for antique cars and driving 'hood open' accross Kutztown was great fun. I was then 24 yrs of age. My thoughts and sympathy to his family.

Judge Schaeffer was a true gentleman and a scholar. He treated all people equally. The legacy he has left as a leader in the law is exceptional.I was fortunate he was my mentor and my friend. My sympathy to his family.
