Gregory Dinnocenti Obituary

Gregory Allen Dinnocenti, 60, of Limerick, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA.
Born in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of Helen (Hakun) Dinnocenti of Pottstown, PA and the late Eugene C. Dinnocenti.
Greg was a graduate of The Hill School, Pottstown, where he excelled at sports, especially track and field.
For many years, he held The Hill School high hurdles record. He was also a graduate from Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, PA. He was a member of CHI PHI Fraternity.
A self-employed real estate developer, he worked on many projects in the greater Philadelphia area. He enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting, skiing, golf and fishing with his family. They won many fishing tournaments on "Sirena" up and down the East Coast. He was a member of Spring Ford Country Club, Saucon Valley Country Club and the Union League in Philadelphia. Greg was a car enthusiast and collected sports cars including his Ferraris. He will be remembered for his wonderful laugh, his great big heart and his love for his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Donna Marie Dinnocenti McLaughlin of Chester Springs, PA; his niece Iris Helena McLaughlin and his nephew Samuel Eugene McLaughlin, both of Chester Springs, PA.
He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends who loved him dearly.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother David Eugene Dinnocenti, who died in 1989.
Greg's Life Celebration/ visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017 in the Gathering Center of St. Aloysius Church, 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA. The funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Celebrant will be the Rev. Monsignor Joseph P. Gentili, S.T.D., the Rev. Joseph L. Maloney will concelebrate. Entombment in Limerick Garden of Memories will follow.

Due to floral restrictions at the mausoleum, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the David and Gregory Dinnocenti Memorial Scholarship Fund, The Hill School, 860 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
