Isabelle Wanner Obituary

Isabelle Rose (DeNicco) Wanner, 79, wife of the late Donald L. Wanner, of, North Coventry Twp., died Saturday at her daughter's home in Collegeville.
Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late August and Julia (Malescio) DeNicco.
Isabelle worked at the Phoenixville Hospital for 20 years before retiring in 2006. She was a member of St. Thomas More R.C. Church, Pottstown.
Isabelle travelled extensively and loved spending time at the shore. She was an enthusiastic Philadelphia sports fan. Her other interests included hiking, fitness, tending to her flower gardens and spending time with her children, grandchildren and large extended family.
Surviving are a daughter, Judy W., wife of Christopher Bader of Collegeville, and two sons, Timothy R. Wanner of Schwenksville and Thomas D. Wanner, of Collegeville. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Brian T. Wanner, Kristin E. Wanner, Allison R. Bader and Charlotte A. Bader.
In addition she is survived by three sisters, Theresa Cocci of North Coventry Twp., Diane Meade of Pottstown and Shirley Muscatello of North Coventry Twp., along with two brothers, Dr. Anthony DeNicco and Dr. August DeNicco, both of Pottstown. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Marie Liberatori.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, at St. Eleanor R.C. Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, North Coventry Twp. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:15 a.m. on Friday at the church.

Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 711 N. Franklin St. Pottstown is in charge of arrangements.

Please extend our deepest sympathy to Dr. Anthony DeNicco & family on the death of his sister Isabelle! We knew her from living in North Cov. over 40 yrs.! We will always remember her as a very pleasant person & always smiling! God Bless her family!
