I worked beside Max for many years. Max was a coworker a mentor, and a friend. I learned alot from this man and think of him often. A good man indeed.

My condolences to go out to the family of Max. I have very fond memories of Max as I had the privilege to work with him for many years at the David Edward furniture company. I was able to work with him on the prototypes of many of his designs. He was a great man indeed. He will be deeply missed by all!

I have many fond memories of Max when we were teammates back in the late fifties . Max was also my workout partner, and was as tough as they come . I am just sorry that we lost touch with each other after that but he will sways be remembered as a fine gentleman . He will be missed by all of his many teammates .

I am sadden to hear of Max's passingand my condolences go out to his entire family. I believe I met Max once, after the Big Ten Championships in Ann Arbor in 1965. I was a sophmore. I remember, though, looking at his picture in the wrestling room every day for four years and practicing the "pearson" almost every day. One of my fondest memories of wrestling at Michigan was my first varsity dual meet representing the University. I was 19 years old and we were in Pittsburg. Because of injuries, I was up a weight at 157, wrestling a senior and EIWA place winner. I prevailed with a pin, executing a perfect "pearson" in the third period. It is the only time I used the move in competition and it made my debut. Max's life and accomplishments are far more than a wrestling move but for this old wrestler, it is a memory I have cherished for almost half a century.
