Pauline Haring Obituary

PAULINE E. HARING, 90, OF SASSAMANSVILLE Pauline E. (Stauffer) Haring, 90, of Sassamansville, widow of Raymond L. Haring, died Wednesday at Sanatoga Center. Born in Sassamansville, she was a daughter of the late Calvin Stauffer and the late Mabel (Erb) Stauffer. She was a graduate of Boyertown High School. Pauline was a homemaker. She was an avid Phillies fan, gardener and loved animals. She was also a longtime volunteer for the Montgomery County Association for the Blind. Pauline was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sassamansville. Surviving is one daughter, Joanne Lohn, widow of Jerome of New York City. She was predeceased by one son, Craig S. Haring, and one brother, John Stauffer. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Morrell Funeral Home Inc., 124 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 370, Sassamansville, PA 19472 or to Montgomery County Association for the Blind, 212 North Main Street., North Wales, PA 19454. Arrangements are by the Morrell Funeral Home Inc., (www.MorrellFuneralHome.com).

I'm so sorry to hear Pauline passed away. I always enjoy when she came in to the Sassamansville Post Office to get her mail and we always would talk about what was going on in the world and in town. She always brighten the day. Bless her soul, Stan Sarnocinski, Jr. Former Postmaster.
