NOT SYLVIA! Photo I took of a "saw player" in 1977, on a visit to a historic PA town with Sylvia Gorritz. This was the last time I spent with Sylvia.

Sylvia was a lovely lady, sweet, kind, fun-loving, and with a terrific smile. I knew Sylvia in the 1960s-1970s, and I got to meet her parents and siblings. Her sister Ethel was wonderful, too (with a very hearty laugh!). Sylvia introduced me to Shoo-fly Pie! Thinking back to those days eventually led me here. In my memory she is always beautiful. What I've learned here is that she had a good life and good friends. I'm very glad of that. (The photo is NOT SYLVIA! It is from May 1977, when Sylvia took me and my wife to a historic PA town (name?), and we saw the pictured lady playing the saw. That was my last time spent with Sylvia. I wish I'd taken her picture.)

Sylvia was an amazing woman. I will miss her more than words can describe. She made my job enjoyable and always brought a smile to my face. I am blessed for being given the opportunity to care for and spend time with her.

Sylvia's faith has now become sight.....I enjoyed my monthly Sunday visits talking with Sylvia at Hearthstone. She sure did love her Creator.
