William Conrad Obituary

William M. Conrad, 93, of Rockland Township, died Nov. 8, 2012 in the Lutheran Home at Topton, where he was a patient one day.
He was the husband of Edna M. (Weidner) Conrad, whom he married Nov. 12, 1939.
Born in Lyon Station, he was a son of the late Adam B. and Mary E. (Dietrich) Conrad.
Mr. Conrad was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II.
He was a machinist, working for McConway & Torley Corporation, Kutztown Foundry Division for 28 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood.
Survivors: Wife, sons, Arlan W., husband of Norma K. (Hill) Conrad, Mertztown; Dale G. A., husband of Beverly A. (Barlet) Conrad, Fleetwood Dennis L. Conrad, Fleetwood; sisters, Daisy S. (Conrad), widow of T. Stuart Diener, Fleetwood and Mabel (Conrad), widow of Donald Schildt, Fleetwood. There are also five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services, Saturday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with the Reverend Elizabeth A. Haines officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends could call Saturday from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.ludwickfh.com.
