Tiberio

Highland - Anthony "Tony" Tiberio 64, a lifelong resident of Highland passed away on November 14, 2016 at the Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical.

Tony graduated from Highland High School and Dutchess Community College.

Tony was a Police Officer for 25 years for the City of Beacon Police Department up until his retirement in 2003.

He was an Eagles Scout, was a member of the Lloyd Rod and Gun Club, the I.P.S.C Club, he was an avid motorcycle rider, competition shooter and avid runner and exerciser.

Tony was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on January 21, 1952. He was the son of Nicholas A. Tiberio and Mary Fillips Tiberio.

On May 29, 1976 in Highland, NY he married Deborah Del Cotto. Mrs. Tiberio survives at home in Highland. Additional survivors include his son, Nicholas Tiberio of Kissimmee, FL, his sister, Phyllis Love and her husband Raymond of Marion, NY and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital, Hospice of Ulster County and Hudson Valley Hematology & oncology in Poughkeepsie, especially Dr. Maresca and staff for their support, help and kindness through it all.

A Memorial gathering for family and friends will take place on Tuesday November 29th from 6-9pm at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. 38 Main St. Highland, NY 12528
