Mondello, Jr.
Hurley - Carl J Mondello Jr. 89 of Hurley, NY passed away along with his son Richard on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 23, 2017.
Born on September 9th 1927 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of the late Carl J. Mondello Sr. and Jeanne (Naccari) Mondello. Carl was predeceased by his second wife Mary Mondello and his 2 sisters Rose Marie Falzarano and Jeannette Maher. He is survived by his first wife and the mother of his children Audrey Mondello of Elizaville, NY, and his brother James Mondello of Palm City FL.
Carl is also survived by his 5 remaining sons; Carl, Joseph, John, Michael, and Paul, and 5 daughters; Marianne, Dianne, Catherine, Terese, and Margaret, 1 step son, 1 step daughter, 20 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 5 daughters-in-law, 2 sons in law, 1 grandson in law, 1 granddaughter in law.
Carl had the foresight to provide his final wishes prior to his passing.
He wants to inform his friends that he has finally gone to be with his heavenly father.
He asks to not be mourned as he was blessed with a long healthy life surrounded by his loved ones.
He asks for everyone to please pray for him as he will for you. He says to live every day to the fullest and please God and he will see us all again one day.
Carl helped countless people as a Hypnotherapist. He was a veteran of WWII in the US Navy. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and a man of great faith.
Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral home on Friday April 28, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00am on Saturday April 29, 2017 at St Christopher's Church Red Hook NY. Father Patrick Buckley will officiate. Interment will be private.
Memorial donations may be made in Carl's memory to our veterans.
Arrangements are under the direction of Burnett & White Funeral Homes 7461 S. Broadway, Red Hook, NY.
