Charles Massarelli Obituary
POUGHKEEPSIE - Charles Massarelli peacefully passed away on July 8, 2012 joining his beloved wife, Helen Massarelli. He was the son of the late John and Lucy Campbell Massarelli.
He was a member of the Teamster Union, Local 445 & 456 and a minister.
Charles is survived by a son Charles R. Massarelli, Jr. and his wife, Stephanie of Poughkeepsie, NY; daughters, Lacinda Mongan of Poughkeepsie, NY, Crystal Massarelli and her husband, Sean of Montebello, NY and LuAnn Stoudt and her husband, David of Alexandria, Virginia; his sisters, Joanne Massarelli of Hyde Park, NY, Nancy Bate Kormornik of Arizona, and Judith Massarelli of Hyde Park, NY and Linda Shattuck of Valatie, NY; his grandchildren, Nicky, Shannon, Russell, Matthew, Devin, Marina, Helena, and Hunter; and several nieces and nephews.
Charles was predeceased by his brother, John Massarelli, III; his sister, Marie Massarelli and his niece, Shawna.
A Celebration of Charles Massarelli's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main St., Wappingers Falls, NY following calling hours from 6-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Charles' name to Hospice of Dutchess County, 374 Violet Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.

You strength wisdom and guidance will live on in my heart forever. You were and always will be an inspiration and icon to me.
