David Gabriel Michos

Poughkeepsie, New York - David Gabriel Michos, 30, of Poughkeepsie passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. He was born on July 8, 1991, at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut to Terence S. Michos and Carmen L. (Villalba) Michos.

David resided in Poughkeepsie for much of his life but also lived for nearly a decade during his teenage years at the Center for Discovery in Sullivan County.

During his childhood, he attended school through Rehabilitation Programs, Inc., in Poughkeepsie and also attended Faith Assembly of God Church, where he was part of the church's Youngsters Especially Special Program.

David loved all kinds of music and could keep a beat to any song that reached his ears. He also loved being outdoors, eating all sorts of various cuisines,

being with his family and friends, and bonding with those he lived with at his New Horizons home. He especially loved his Sunday afternoon dinners with his mom.

David was always a happy person.

He is survived by his father and mother, Terence and Carmen Michos, of Poughkeepsie, New York; his brother and fiancé, Daniel C. Michos and Anna Paratore, both of Clinton Corners, New York; his brother and sister in-law, Andrew and Marissa Michos, of Forest, Virginia; his sister, Abigail Michos, of Washington, DC; and scores of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends from across various states, all of whom always asked the question, "How's David?"

David was predeceased by his grandparents, Soteros & Evelyn Michos and Damaso & Coralie Villalba.

Friends may call on Saturday, July 31, 2021, from 9:00-10:30 AM at Faith Assembly of God Church, 25 Golf Club Lane, Poughkeepsie, NY. The Funeral Service will start at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at the Wappingers Rural Cemetery.
