Delia Cosgrove Obituary
BEEKMAN - Delia M. Cosgrove, 83, an area resident for 25 years and formerly of Thornwood, died on October 2, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Rochester, NY on October 19, 1934, she was the daughter of Craig and Eleanor (Slack) Brown. Delia was employed as the HR Administrator for Praxair in Danbury, CT. A very friendly and social woman, she enjoyed volunteering at the Beekman Library and solving jigsaw puzzles. More than anything, Delia loved her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with her neighbors in Dalton Farm and with all of her friends.
Delia is survived by her children and their spouses, Kevin and Gail Cosgrove of Las Vegas, NV, and Karen and John Mierisch of Newburgh; her grandchildren, Jenna, Kevin Michael, Kristin and Kelly; her brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Janice Brown of Chester, MA; and her niece and nephews, Steve, Cheryl, James and David. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Cosgrove, on December 13, 1981.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-3pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday at 10am at the funeral home followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
