Douglas "Juice" Plumer

BEACON - Plumer, Douglas "Juice", passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY. He was 55 years old.

Born May 9, 1956 in Dover NH, he was the son of the late Donald and Margaret Elsmore Plumer.

Douglas was the superintendent with Fluor Industrial Service with East Fishkill IBM, and was formerly employed by Chelsea Ridge for over fifteen years.

On June 28, 1992 at the Wappingers United Methodist Church Douglas married Jacqueline A. Clausen, Mrs. Plumer survives at home.

In addition to his wife Douglas is survived by his four children Brent, Amber, and Tyler Plumer,Tiffany and her husband Brian DeVincenzi, one granddaughter Kendra DeVincenzi, two brothers; Dale Plumer, and his wife Marilyn, of Beacon, and Donald Plumer of Newburgh, his mother in law Lorrraine Clausen, three brothers in law; Steven Clausen and his wife Christine, Paul Clausen and his wife Carol, and Peter Clausen, two sisters in law; Diane Smith and her husband David, and Karen Babcock, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his brother Charles Bruce Plumer, and his stepfather, Mike Porreca.

Visitation will be held Saturday January 7, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY Where at 5:30 Funeral services will take place, Paster Tony Beck will officiate.
