Woolsey

MILTON - Frederick C. Woolsey, 69, lifelong resident of Milton, NY passed away April 29, 2011 at Wingate at Ulster.

A member of the Milton Methodist Church from childhood, Fred often played the organ for church services. He occasionally filled in as an organist for the Milton and Marlboro Presbyterian churches. He lent his support to the Friends of Milton Train Station renovation.

He was also one of those creative people who turned a hobby - lamp making - into a business.

Dear Mrs. Lyons, Karen and family of Fred Woolsey,

It has many years since I have been in touch with your family. I received word of Fred's passing from my sister, Margie Monte McManus.

While I was a student at Marlboro High School I was friendly with Karen and spent many days at your home in Milton. Often Karen and I would study for regents exams together. During these times, I also enjoyed visiting with Fred, both in school and at your home. I remember Fred always with a large, beautiful smile and pleasant word. He was always chipper and friendly. I can still picture him as he was then.

He accomplished much in life and was a very good person.

He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Please accept my deepest condolences on his passing and congratulations for a life well lived.

Sincerely,
Constance (Connie) Catalinotto
