I too was saddened and stunned just learning of Dr. Watson's passing. With my last ailment in Feb. he let me know of his on going journey. He and his very knowledgeable, and caring staff got me out of some doozies. I will miss this kind, gentle man. Rest in Peace Dr. Watson.

I haven't been into the office for some time and just learned of Dr. Watson's passing. Shocked. Stunned. Saddened for all his loved ones, friends and patients.

A friend of mine told me of Dr. Watson a decade ago and Dr. Watson served me, my children and even my ex-wife.

Dr. Watson was the epitome of old-school doctor. I wish there were more like him.

His business approach was unique and allowed people like my family, during financial struggles, to be able to afford medical care.

I thought he would live for a couple more decades at least.

He made a mark in the world, gave his talents, skills and heart to others.

He was a blessing to people.

His office were "good people" too.

Only recently I learned of Dr. Watson's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family. Many times I had the opportunity to give Dr. Watson a ride in the F-16 as our Flight Surgeon in the Kansas Air National Guard. Always will have fond memories of our association in the Guard and as a family doctor. Exceptionally kind man and great mentor. May he always have a strong tailwind and plenty of altitude below.

Dr. George is one great guy and did so much as a Doctor and for his country. He helped my brother and myself thru back and knee problems (2010-2014) with his alternative approach to healing. He administered prolotherapy/prolozone treatments that kept us from having surgery and I now lead an active life and can play golf again. Truly remarkable man and we've been so fortunate to have had the chance to know him as a Doctor and as a friend. He'll be sorely missed by so many of us and just pray and hope someone like him will practice Medicine the way he's done for so many years. Wish the best to his wife and all his family and friends, with tears in my eyes I sign off and know he'll be watching down upon us. (My brother passed away about two years ago to cancer and now they're both together watching down upon us!)My prayers are with George's family and please pray for us, too. With deepest sympathy and in loving memory, Bill Geubelle

I will miss Dr. Watson. He is the only doctor to ever truly care about his patients. He was a doctor to the many people without insurance. He was warm and was known in the community for being a Christian. That's why he stood out from the rest of the doctors in the community. He was my father's doctor as well as mine. I will miss his sweet voice and soothing spirit. May God be with his family in this time of mourning.

Dr. Watson has been my physician since I moved here 16 years ago. He was such a kind and caring doctor. One time I brought my adult son in for depression and after being examined, Dr. Watson, with tears in his eyes, asked my son if he could pray with him. I was shocked and so moved with his compassion for my son. That made such an impact on my son to see someone that hardly knew him, yet cared enough to pray for him. I've never seen a doctor do that and I will never forget that day. He will be greatly missed!

Dr. Watson loved playing with children after church and my children were no exception. My kids will always remember him trying to put them in the trash can. Many times upside down! Lol. They had so much fun playing with him after church. ;) He was always helping people who couldn't afford good health care. He helped us a few times. He was a great man with a very good heart. Doc is 1 of the greatest men I ever knew. When 1st meeting him in mid eighties my father & I met him at his clinic on N.Emporia. He ask Curley if he could have him 3 rooms to see patients in within two weeks. Curley said sure & began to sketch with doc on what he needed. Lord & behold we had him in new location with 3 exam rooms within that two weeks this was a beginning to a great friendship. After my father ( Curley ) died in 1992 doc just took me over in every aspect. Doc & Julie introduce me to Jesus with all their hearts. As I was rodeoing durning the next twenty years I would let them know when I was heading home. As my horses were being bagged with all the essentials. Doc would have me at clinic bagging me so I could get back out on that road. My friend you will be so missed & I'm so proud of all the lives you all touched. Thank you for touching & becoming a big part of my life. I look so forward to seeing you again in Dear Gods time in I know you & Curley will be watching over me. The only two greatest men I have ever known. Julie you and your family have given so much of yourselves so doc could touch & heal so many. Thank you for your sharing. I'm so sorry for your loss if you should ever need anything please do not hesitate to call. Love you all very much.

George was a true hero, a wonderful friend and mentor. George fought hard to protect independent medical practice with the AAPS. He referred to our organization as the "Delta Force" for private medicine. Rest in peace, my friend. I will miss you tremendously.

Love and prayers from the Clark Buehler family.

I have been privileged to have known George and his family for close to 30 years. He will be remembered by me as a true role model for men both young and old. His example as a husband, father, church leader and as a United States patriot as well as a community leader and MD will forever be in my heart. I can remember several times he got out of bed in the middle of night to meet us at his clinic to treat me or a loved one because I couldn't afford a er visit and had no insurance! He will be missed by all who have ever had the opportunity to have met him. Julie and family we love you all and send much love and prayers.

George was my Hero in Faith. George introduced Christ to me summer 1981. I wanted and needed what George had. A personal trust and faith in Jesus Christ. I accepted Christ as Lord and Savior summer of 1981. I owe so much to George my great friend and brother. I will miss him dearly now and cannot wait to be in eternity with him when my going home occurs. Love this man!!! Greg Miller D.O.

We only knew Dr.Watson about three years.
It was always about the purpose of the office call. It was never about him or his life even to the last few months. We saw that he looked very ill but he said nothing and we didnt inquire.
He was so unique and caring. We had total confidence in his care and judgement of the situation we found ourselves in..
This has been very hard for us.. though we knew him such a short time..Its a feeling of being adrift. He was a true earth angel for us!!

I'd like to share an example of Dr. George's humility...at a church dinner, our little granddaughter went to him and asked him to pull her tooth, and he DID right then and there!
