Jacqueline Denise

(Olenick) O'Malley

SPRING HILL, FL - Jacqueline "Jackie" Denise (Olenick) O'Malley, a resident of Spring Hill, FL and previously a resident of Wappingers Falls, NY passed peacefully on Wednesday November 16, 2011 in Hospice care after a protracted battle with cancer. She had recently turned 65.

Prior to moving to Spring Hill, FL, Jackie worked as the Aquatics Director for the YMCA of Dutchess County before working for ASD (Automatic Systems Developers) and then Merchants Press in Poughkeepsie, NY. She graduated Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society from Dutchess Community College. She enjoyed an active life as a certified sailing Captain, open water and night SCUBA diver, as well as an avid skier and previous member of the Hudson Valley Ski Club. She frequented the Hernando Computer Club and Photography SIG.

In addition to her husband, John, she is also survived by her daughter Erin, and son John along with his wife Kate; Patricia (Considine) McDonald, and in-laws Daniel with wife Kathy, Eileen with husband Neil, Robert with wife Barbara, and Brian with wife Lexi and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter Barbara as well as her brother John and sister Evelyn.

To the O'Malley family.
I was saddened to learn that Jackie passed away. Jackie and I go back a long way ASD, the ski club, skiing trips. I have many fond memories. John(Johnny) and Erin I have not seen you both in some time. I am so sorry for the loss of your mother.
