Janine Oakley Obituary
Poughkeepsie - Janine Oakley succumbed to her long battle with cancer on Friday December 10, 2017 in the peaceful comfort at River Valley Nursing Home. With her beloved daughter Brittney Oakley-Burky and sister Debra Terralavoro at her side, along with her brother in law John Terralavoro and Stephen Matthews. All were care givers to Janine over the pasts years bringing her comfort during her long battle with cancer.
Born in Poughkeepsie on August 17th, 1959. She was a graduate of Roy C Ketcham High School, Janine worked her entire life in the food services industry here in the Mid-Hudson Valley. In her younger days she enjoyed art, music and of course her friends and family. Janine had many nieces and nephews who will miss her along with her brother Kyle Oakley and his family in New Orleans, Louisiana and her twin sister Denise Henderson and her family of Jonesborough Tennessee.
Janine is preceded by her loving mother Clarice Oakley.
