Linda, Amanda & Family,
Sorry to hear about John's passing. We went to school together and raced cars together. He always had a smile. He had so many friends and would keep in contact with them. He absolutely loved the "wagon" and drag racing. He just loved getting the front tires off the ground. So many memories come to mind. He was a great person and will be missed. God bless.

I last saw John at the Dover Reunion at Marcus Dairy 2 years ago...it was great to see him and the rest of the old Dover gang. My condolences to his wife and family..he will surely be missed. Hopefully he is already "bench racing" and talking shop with some of the other guys like Dick Hampe in Horsepower Heaven!!

Linda,
Our prayers go out to you & the Gunn family. I had lots of fun back in the day with the race cars & hanging out at the old Dairy Queen with all our fast cars. He will be missed. He sure did know how to build a fast motor. We are sharing in your loss as well

I can't begin to tell you how sorry we are for your loss. John was a great man with a heart of gold. Skip and I used to be there on almost a daily basis. We watched Amanda grow up. Our daughter Cheri-Lyn and Amanda spent lots of time playing in the shop and the other end of the garage. John was always known for saying certain race car parts like a header, etc were "irreplaceable"... John truly IS "IRREPLACEABLE"... Hw was one of a kind. Skip and I truly cared for John,as we care for Linda and Amanda as well. Your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers. We will truly miss John... he definitely left footprints in our hearts. God Bless... If you need anything, we're right on Noxon Road. Please don't hesitate to ask.

I was just at the shop. I can't believe he's gone. John was a great machinist,a top notch competitor and an even better friend. I'll never forget the times I had with him,and the things he taught me. John changed my life for the better, forever, and I'll always hold a place for him in my heart. God Bless his family in this difficult time. If theres anything I can do,I'm there 100%!
Rest in peace,John. We'll miss you till we see you again.
