Watching the British today thinking of Jon. Always up for a roadtrip, a round of golf with stakes, and fun with friends in a pub.

John was our Gryphon (RA) on Richards A3 at Lehigh and made a massively positive impact on our freshman year. From the positive and enthusiastic greeting on our first day through to allowing us (and participating in!) Hall Smash, hotel party, road trip to see Van Halen in NYC, to wild ketchup packets battles on the way home from BK runs (hard to explain and harder to believe no one was ever pulled over). We couldn´t have asked for a better person to shepherd us through our Freshman year. I count myself lucky to have known him and to have landed on that freshman hallway.

I met Jon about 20 minutes before meeting my wife at Lehigh freshman year. He knocked on my door and sold me a "Lehigh: The beer is free" t-shirt. He was my classmate, my roomate, my best man, my golfing buddy, my construction management colleague, my obnoxious Cowboys fan and best of all, a great friend. The sweetness in my sorrow in that he is at peace...and striking every ball purely.
