Joseph Ventresca Obituary
Beacon - Joseph J. Ventresca a carpenter and a lifelong resident of Beacon passed away peacefully on May 11, 2017 at St. Lukes Hospital. He was 96.
Born on August 2, 1920 in Beacon to the late Salvatore and Katie Ventresca.
Joe was a proud veteran of The United States Navy serving his country during WWII in the Seabee's.
He was a life member of Mase Hook and Ladder, a Life Member of St. Rocco's and a member of American Legion Post 203 in Beacon.
He is survived by his devoted wife Marian ( Vikki) Ventresca, Loving Children Guy Vantresca, Joseph Ireland, Mitzi ( Ireland) Wood, Cherished grandchildren Jeff Ireland, Marisa Wood, Scott Wood and Caitlin Berdiales, 2 great grandchildren Rylee and Ripley Ireland He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Joseph was predeceased by his sister Mary Peluso and his brother Louis Ventresca.
A Celebration of Joseph's life will be held on Monday May 15, 2017from 4-7pm at Libby Funeral Home, 55 Teller Ave, Beacon, New York. Interment with military honors will be on Tuesday May 16, 2017 at 11am at Fairview Cemetery,Washington Ave, Beacon.
