Kathy J. Roberts

GLENHAM - Kathy J. Roberts of Glenham, NY entered into rest Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at her home with her family by her side, she was 62.

Born June 27, 1949 in Adams Center, NY, she was the daughter of the late John Kenneth and Morna Murray Dixon.

On April 6, 1968 she married Laurence R. Roberts, Mr. Roberts survives at home.

Kathy was the owner of Kathy's Kreations, the past president of Slater Chemical Ladies Auxiliary, Glenham and a member of the Fishkill Reformed Church.

Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, taking care of her grandchildren was her passion, as well as spending time doing her crafts.

In addition to her husband Larry, she is survived by a daughter JoAnna L. Walsh and her husband Michael of Hopewell Junction, a son Timothy J. Roberts and his wife Rene of Tillson, NY , a sister Candace Elmer and her husband Jack of Adams Center, NY, a brother John Kenneth Dixon and his wife Priscilla of Henderson, NC, three grandchildren Kayla, Samantha, & Dylan, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 8, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY, where, at 5:00 pm Memorial services will take place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105
