Red Hook - Lieselotte "Lilo" Trimarco, 86, of Red Hook, NY, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015 at her home.
Born on October 11, 1928, in Alsfeld, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Anna (Schmidt) Mohr.
For many years and until her retirement, Lilo worked at St. Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers, NY.
Lilo was a communicant of St. Christopher's Church, Red Hook and a former member of St. Anne's Church in Yonkers and Mt. Carmel/St. Anthony's of Yonkers.
Active in her community, Lilo was a member of the Red Hook Seniors, St. Christopher's Seniors, Milan Seniors, and Southern Tier Seniors. She also was a member of the Teutonia Club and the Yonkers Sports Club.
Lilo married Joseph A. Trimarco, Sr on September 30, 1956 in Yonkers, NY and he survives at home in Red Hook.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her children; Joseph A. Trimarco, Jr. of Red Hook, NY, Joseph McCollum of Cold Spring, NY, Eugene McCollum of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Rita Smith of Big Flat, NY, six grandchildren- including Gene Lee McCollum who she was especially close with, six great grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her siblings: Alwine Konnecke, Ethel Fenn, Adolph, Rudolph, and Herman Mohr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Christopher's Church, Red Hook, NY. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Red Hook.
Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes on Friday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM.
Memorial donations may be made in Lilo's memory to the St. Christopher's Church, 7411 S. Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571.
