Michael B. Trainor

Poughkeepsie - Michael B. Trainor, 58, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, passed away on October 19, 2017 at The Kaplan Family Hospice in Newburgh, NY. He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on March 24, 1959, the son of Greg & Vera MacLarion McCurty.

He married Luanne Baker on February 4, 1989 in Poughkeepsie, NY and was married for 28 1/2 years. She survives at home. Michael enjoyed riding his Harley, cooking, watching football(especially his Jets), and shading very detailed pictures with colored pencils that looked like paintings when he was finished.

Michael's family would like to thank ALL the Staff on 7 South at WMC for their excellent care and compassion while he bravely battled leukemia over the past 10 months. They'd also like to thank Kaplan Family Hospice for making Michael's last days comfortable and as pain free as possible.

He fought the good fight and stayed strong till the end.

Survivors include his parents who live in Poughkeepsie, NY; children: Benjamin, Alexander and Amy Trainor all of Poughkeepsie, NY; brother: Kenny (Kelli) Trainor of Poughkeepsie, NY; sister: Michele "De"(Craig) Butler of Staatsburg, NY; niece: Tristan LeBeouf nephews: Steven, Paul, and Zacheriah DaleTrainor, Ronnie LeBeouf; great-nieces: McKayla LeBeouf and brother-in-law: Jeff Baker. An aunt, numerous cousins and a wide circle of friends ranging from Bradley Village, Drum Corp., the biker community and the different places he worked.

Michael will be cremated. As per his wishes, there will be no calling hours and no service. Please check his facepage in a few days for details on "Mike's Last Ride and Party". All are welcome.
