I loved Mildred with all of my heart and never failed to tell her so. She would smile and tell me she loved me, too. She spent her life glorifying and praising God. She was the epitome of love - her family, her church and everybody. I shall always miss her.

Dear Hobbs family,
The family of Alston & Blanche Branscomb joins me & my family in saying that our hearts go out to you all in the passing of a greatly beloved wife, mother & friend. May God bless each of you with His peace. I am comforted by an affirmation of faith expressed by my great grandfather, John Wesley Branscomb: "...I will try and lean on Him who is ever present, full of mercy and able to comfort in all trials."
I know that your hearts ache but you can rejoice in so many treasured memories!
Our prayers and thoughts are with each of you.
We love you.

Dear Bobbie and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your precious Mom. I have many happy memories of her and your family and times spent at your house during our school days. Time passes so quickly now. I know you all have so many wonderful memories of her which will bring you joy in the days to come. I pray for you all to feel God's comfort, love, peace, strength, and His wonderful presence during this time. I'm sorry I can't be there, but I'll be thinking of you.

Dear family...The greatest compliment I can give to any one is to say they are like my mother...and that is how I think of sweet Mrs. Hobbs. Whenever I was at church, I always sat next to her and what a delightfully happy, sweet and gentle lady she was...always. The world has lost an angel but Heaven has gained a beautiful soul...
