Muriel Wilson Obituary
BEACON - Wilson, Muriel Oathout of Beacon, entered into rest Wed. Dec. 7, 2011 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, she was 91.
Born November 3, 1920 in Coxsackie, NY she was the daughter of the late Minard J. and Louesa Borst Oathout. Mrs. Wilson was the widow of the late Ernest Carl Wilson.
She was a graduate of Red Hook High School, Red Hook and St. Margaret's School of Nursing, Albany. She is a WWII Navy Veteran and retired from Castle Point VA Medical Center.
Survivors include her three children; Ernest Wilson and his wife Candace, of Beacon, Carl C. Wilson II of Lake Elsinore, CA, and Janet Boice of Hyde Park, eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Olive Madsen, and Rebecca Coons.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 11, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY .
Funeral services will take place Monday, December 12 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
Interment with Military Honors will follow in Wappingers Rural Cemetery, Wappingers Falls, NY.
