Dear Marie and Family:

I never met any of you, but my heart goes out to you at this sad time. Richie and I went to High School together. I don't think I saw him more than once since graduation, but I'll never forget his warm smile, his constant willingness to help anybody, and is attitude on life. When I visit the Adirondacks I always think of him when I drive through Lake Clear and the house where he and his family lived.

My Bo,

I love you. Or as Richie would say, "My Darlin' Marie I love you". Some people find the positive in all they say, see, or do despite hardships and tragedies. Our loving Richie is one of them. Too bad he's the exception. We needed him here.

Dear Marie
Where have all the years gone? We met and became friends so many years ago. We've shared many occasions, both happy and sad, but I must say losing Richie, is by far the saddest. Richie was good man and a true friend. I recall, when Carmine would be on business, Richie would always pick me up for work, with a smile. Do you remember that first winter, when Carmine had many, many business trips in Florida, Richie would always ask "is he going away again," and if the answer was yes Richie would laugh and say oh well, you know it's going to snow here. That is how I will always think of Richie laughing and smiling. Now, we on earth have an angel praying for us. Rest in peace Richie. We will never forget you.

Richard was my life, my best friend and my soul mate. I was blessed the day I met him and doubly blessed the day we married. Rich was a beautiful soul who would do anything for anyone, no exceptions. My life seems empty without him but I will always remember his words, "God's will not ours" and "Pay it forward" which we always tried to do.
