Robert Losee Obituary
Hyde Park - Robert 'Bob' Peter Losee, 87, of Hyde Park, passed away peacefully at home on June 1, 2017, just shy of his 88th birthday.
Born in Fishkill, NY on June 13, 1929, Bob served our country with pride in the Korean War and received an honorable discharge from the Army after being wounded in 1952.
For over 30 years, Bob worked with different companies in the area as a bus driver for disabled and handicapped adults, a job he enjoyed and felt gave him the luxury of seeing the world a little differently.
His longtime love of 29 years, Phyllis Pagano, survives at home. Predeceased by two brothers and a sister, Bob is survived by a sister, Alice Renner, of PA; several nieces and nephews; and a huge inherited family that loved him dearly.
Bob drove somewhere everyday with his girl by his side. A very social butterfly, he was known for his quick wit at the places he frequented. Bob will truly be missed.
Calling hours will be from 11am-12 noon on Monday, June 5th at Sweet's Funeral Home, Route 9, Hyde Park.
A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 12 noon at the funeral home. Pastor Bob Hargrave will be officiating.
