Tasha Gordon Obituary
Poughkeepsie - Tasha Gordon, age 38 of Poughkeepsie, NY enter eternal rest Monday, November 11, 2013 at her residence. She was born on October 15, 1975 in Hudson, NY. The daughter of Helen Gordon and Robert Ravenell Sr. She married Curtis Gordon on March 18, 2003.
Tasha attended Poughkeepsie City schools. She worked as an CNA for Victory Lake Nursing Home, Eden Park and other local nursing homes and agencies. She also worked and lived in the Albany area for many years,
She is survived by her parents Helen Gordon (Leonard) of Poughkeepsie and Robert Ravenell Sr of South Carolina. Her husband Curtis Gordon and their two children Tahmel and Jabari Gordon; grandson Asante' Gordon; 5 sisters: Letoria Grissett (Robert) , Shirley Kettle)Jermain) all of Poughkeepsie, Sophia smith of Kingston, NY, Antoinette and Glady Ravenell both of Albany; 2 brothers rasheem Harrison of Poughkeepsie and Robert Ravenell of Albany; maternal grandparents Mattie Smith of Poughkeepsie and Billy Smith of Georgia. 16 nieces, 12 nephews and 1 great niece. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her 2 grandmothers, 1 niece and 2 nephews
Tasha will be missed by all who loved and knew her. Most of all by her children whom she loved with all her heart.
Mrs Gordon will lay in repose 10-11am Friday, November 29, at Beth-El C.O.G.I.C. 91 Hooker Avenue Poughkeepsie. Services 11am at the church. Superintendent Dr. Dwight Hunt will officiate, Interment at Union Cemetery, East Park, NY.

HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY MRS.DEVA. Happy Birthday My Sister, its been ALMOST 2 long years since you've departed us, and I miss u more n more. Sorry I'm not able to visit u today but soon as I have my baby boy in 14 weeks I be right there. I owe u so much flowers in visits. I'm gonna come by every week for 2 months. (Lol). I just wanna thank you for looking over me the past 2 months and keeping me strong for my baby. And help getting me through tough times. I'm back on track and were i'm suppose to be.
