Scott Pedersen Obituary
After his graduation from the University of Minnesota with a degree in civil engineering, he worked for the State of Minnesota's Department of Transportation until his death. His interest in politics led him to serve on the St. Michael City Council.
Scott loved history and was especially interested in World War II. He was a fan of Minnesota sports teams and was also very interested in Olympic track and field events.
He is survived by his parents, Thor and Linda Pedersen; and his brother, David. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning one hour prior to service at St. Paul's Lutheran Church (11024 Church Street NE, Hanover, MN).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael-Albertville. Online condolences for the family may be directed to www.thepetersonchapel.com.

I had the pleasure to meet Scott via the Economic Development Authority and St. Michael City Council. He was a good man who was involved and cared about the community. His presence and contributions will be surely missed.
