Greetings Casey:
I just took the time to read all the entries in Aunt Eleanor's Guest Book. All these people remembered the same Eleanor I did. After I retired and got interested in Family History I couldn't wait to get down to talk with Aunt Eleanor. Now I wish I had done it more often.
Love You,
Joe

I loved Eleanor! I saw her every six months to clean her teeth at the dental office. She was so much fun but also discovered what a caring and loving sweetheart she was. She mailed me many a recipe to my home and I shall continue to make her "apple cake" and remember her sparkling, twinkling, little mischeivious eyes. She will be sorely missed! God blessed your family and all of us with her special spirit and how wonderful to know now that she is with her Heavenly Father "taking care of business." Blessings to your entire family.

As a resident of the Harry L. Apartments in Johnson City, I had the greatest privilege of meeting Eleanor ~~ she looked familar to me, but I could not make any connection. As fate would have it, Eleanor and I crossed paths once again, which is inevitable in the Harry L Apts. She looked at me with that familiar stern look, and said, "I know you. We both worked at Columbian Mutual !! " You could have knocked me over with a feather. I replied, "Oh, God, Eleanor, I knew you were familiar. You remembered me after forty (40) years ??" She had asked me to help dismantle her Christmas tree, and then a couple of weeks later, apologized for 'taking up my time'. She was one great lady in my book. She was the personification of grace, dignity, and elegance. Forty years,
and yet, I feel like I lost a member of my family. The Harry L. family has lost one whose 'book' we should all read. ~~ Dominick A. Gioffre

I've had the pleasure of getting to know Eleanor at her apartment building where I work. I got such a kick out of her. Her personality was so vibrant, she was so strong and wise. From everyone at SEPP and Harry L. Apartments, we'll miss you Eleanor. To her family, you are in our thoughts and prayers during this hard time of your life.

A very sweet, wonderful woman, great neighbor, and disciplinarian to us unruly neighborhood kids. I grew up with the Walsh family, they're great people. Miss Jim Sr. with his quart of beer on the back porch, all the hell that Jimmy raised,Patty the cool older sister, and Casey. Not to mention "SAM". Great people..great times,Eleanor, we love you, we miss you..God bless you.......
