Amanda was the strongest person that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Even before the cancer she was a strong willed girl. She cared for everyone the same. I loved her sense of humor she always knew how to cheer me up no matter what. The thing that I will miss the most of Amanda is our early morning chats after we would put the kids on the bus. I loved that I could call to tell her one simple thing and be on the phone with her for an hour. Right now I feel very lost and empty without her but now I have a very strong guardian angel watching over me. I love you Amanda and I will miss you so much.

I am so sorry for all the family of Amanda. I worked with Amanda at Vestal. She was such a "light" that shone in everything she did. When someone passed at the facility, I would go searching for Amanda and she would sing Amazing Grace at our small service.
She was such a blessing. She loved her family and her face would shine when she talked about her then boyfriend, now husband. I will keep you all in my prayers and I know she
is now in a much better place and you can bet she is singing with the angels. God bless you all.

Amanda cared for my father and stepmother in their home c. 2000-01. She was always cheerful and kind, so good with older folks, bright, vivacious and fun to be with. My dad really enjoyed visiting with her. She later cared for my uncle at Vestal Nursing Home. My stepsister, Donna, called me this morning with the news, and it was so hard to believe. Amanda had such a zest for life. When we knew Amanda, she was just entering adulthood, and we hoped she would have a wonderful life ahead of her. I am glad she was able to become an LPN, that she found a loving husband and had a son and stepdaughter. My family will always remember what a special person she was.

Amand was a wonderful person and a friend who will be cherished and missed. She has touched the lives of many, and will always be remembered for the joy she brought to people, the songs she could sing, her true talent was the lady she was, and that was being Amanda. I worked with Amanda at Vestal Nursing Center and she was a wonderful caregiver and Nurse and loved working with the elderly. The elderly loved her and loved to hear her sing. She will forever be remembered and may God be with you and surround you with the great memories you have of her. You all will be in my prayers and may God be with you and bless you.
