Dennis Ramey Obituary
Binghamton - Denny passed peacefully on Christmas Night after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife and best friend, high school sweetheart Joan; children son Randy (Pat) Ramey, daughter Kelly (Terry) Fuller; grandchildren Colin (Kristin) Ramey, Stephanie (Jeff) Bowen, Kory Fuller, Paige "Gigi" Fuller; great grandchildren Carter and Jack Bowen, his little M&M's Mimi and Molly Ramey; brother-in-law and best friend Ed (Debbie) McHugh. Life long resident of Binghamton; after graduating St. Paul's School he became well known for his culinary ability as a young man working in several well-known restaurants before becoming the proud owner and operator of the Ramey Burial Vault Co. for over 45 years. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 4pm until 6pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robison St. Binghamton. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11am at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Anyone wishing to remember Denny in a special way can donate to Mercy House or any giving charity of their choice or have a nip of Knappogue or Jameson.

To the Ramey family: I met Denny in 1969 at Chenango Valley Cemetary and we continued our friendship during my 38 yrs at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. I spent alot of time with Denny while on the job. A great guy, always had a good story or two to tell. I will surely miss him. Rest in peace my friend. Condolences to the Ramey family.
