Diane Battaglini Obituary
Diane (Shupp) Battaglini, 59 of Endwell, passed away unexpectedly, Monday October 26, 2015 at her home. She was predeceased by her parents, Elton and Catherine Shupp; her father-in-law, Donald K. Battaglini. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Donald B. Battaglini; two sons, Michael Battaglini, Joseph Battaglini and his fiancé, Sherri Stanton; her beloved dog, "Kobi"; two brothers, David (Jirina) Shupp, Robert (Susan Hubert) Shupp; one sister, Margaret (James) Snodgrass; her mother-in-law, Joanne Battaglini; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Denise Battaglini, Debra (Steven) Pert, Jennifer (Brooke) Raser; nieces and nephews, Valerie (Matt) Ryan, Veronica Snodgrass, Mackenzie, Bryan and Nicholas Pert, Lee and Kenneth Raser; very special friends, Sal and Felicia Julian; also several other relatives and friends. Diane attended Christ the King Elementary School before graduating from Maine Endwell Senior High School and Broome Community College. She was a long time employee of IBM Endicott and a volunteer for Union Volunteer Emergency Squad. A devoted wife and mother, her greatest joy was her boys and the countless people who came through her home who considered her a mother of their own. She will be remembered for her priceless sense of humor, amazing ability to make a long story out of anything, an overall welcoming personality and will be dearly missed by all. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday 11:00 am at The Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis St. Endwell, with the Rev. Clarence F. Rumble, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm.
