Edith M. Ames
of MaineEdith (Fiori) Ames, 74, of Maine, died at the Waters, Friday, December 19, 2003. She was predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Agnes (Roma) Fiori; and a sister, Virginia Santucci. She is survived by her husband, Elwyn Ames, Maine; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gary and Lyn Ames, Maine, and Eric Ames, West Pompano Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren, Eric Jr. and Kristy Lyn; a sister, Sylvia Gance, Endicott; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Orlando and Dorothy Fiori, Endicott, R. Joseph and Barbara Fiori, Maine, and Vincent and Peggy Fiori, Endicott; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of Maine Federated Church, Maine, and a former Broome County Airport employee.
Funeral and interment services will be Monday at 1 p.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott, with the Rev. Diane Prentice, pastor of her church. Burial will be in Maine Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Monday from 12 p.m. until service time at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Maine Volunteer Emergency Squad, PO Box 157, Maine, N.Y. 13802.
