Jacqueline Sickles Obituary
Conklin - Jacqueline (Jackie) Sickles, 72, of Conklin passed peacefully March 12, 2019, with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by her parents Warren and Evelyn Sherman, in-laws Charles and Doris Sickles, brother in law John Mehal, nephew Stephen Mehal and loyal pets. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years Bob, daughters Sandra (Bill) Reifler, Meredith (Nick) Sharak, grandchildren Ryan, Samantha and Allison Reifler, Joshua and Kelly Sharak and her faithful cats. Sister in law Shirley Mehal, niece Lisa (Dr. Steven) Hassig, and estranged brother John Sherman and family. A sincere thank you to the nurses and staff at Lourdes Hospital (3Ross, 3West & 1West) for the loving care provided during her illness. At Jackie's request, there will be no services. A private memorial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Bob, I was so sad reading about Jackie in the paper this morning. I have so many fond memories & talks with Jackie over the years. She was such a great friend of my mother's (Sally Cummings) and I will always remember her with a smile. Sending heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.

We are just so shocked to hear about Jackie's passing. So many memories are flooding my mind. Jackie and her family came all the way out to California to celebrate our wedding with us. She and Sandra helped make our rehearsal dinner a success. She hosted us for many pool parties in the summer, but most of all I remember her beautiful laugh and sense of fun. She would call me or text me once in a while to make sure we were doing okay. She often talked about her trips to Disney and going to her grandkids' sporting events. She loved her family and friends so much. I know her faith and her good sense of humor carried her through bad health for quite sometime. Even in the midst of troubles, she had a way of believing everything was going to be ok. Sending love and prayers to Bob, Sandra. Meredith and the whole family.
