Patrick, Sr., James C.

James (Jim) C. Patrick Sr., born July 13, 1929, passed away October 30, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Jim is survived by his former wife Jean, son Jim Jr. (Nancy), daughter Cathy (Doug) Callahan, and grandsons Matt & Rick.

Jim joined the U.S. Army in 1946 where he received training in electronics. While on active duty he was transferred to the Army Air Corps. and completed his tour in 1949. Jim earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Huntington College, Montgomery, Alabama. Jim worked as an electrical engineer, retiring from General Electric in 1990. He enjoyed baseball, plays and concerts, all types of music, was an accomplished guitar player.

Jim will be interred at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Military honors will be rendered in a private ceremony.

Dear Cathy and Doug, So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was one of the nicest people I've ever known. So glad I had him as a friend the past 26 years.
