John Lewis Obituary
Harpursville: John L. Lewis Jr., 52, of Harpursville, passed away to be with angels Thursday morning April 11, 2013 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He was predeceased by his father John L. Lewis Sr. and a sister Kim Marie. He is survived by a son, Thomas Lewis, Endwell; a daughter and her fiancé, Kimberly Lewis and Nick Smith, Endicott; two stepsons, Michael DiMarco, Joseph DeMarco and one stepsister, Gina Jackson, all of FL; two grandchildren, Laiela and Brayden; the mother of his children, Jenny Lewis, Endwell; his mother and stepfather, Anita and Orlando DeMarco, Paris, TN; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Victoria and Jon Stubblefield, FL, Michele and Tony Bonacorsi, NYC; two aunts, Jean and Marge Lewis, FL; several nieces, nephews, cousins, his pal, Jackie Dauley, Harpursville; his dedicated dog, Bean and cat, Pip. John worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed four wheeling and riding dirt bikes with his son Tommy and nephew Joe. He spent countless loving hours with his daughter Kimmie. John was a hardworking dedicated family man. Memorial services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home Inc. 150 Main St. Johnson City Monday at 11AM. The Rev. Elvin S. Murphy will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10AM until time of services.

Well as of this moment , the time marks one year of my brother's passing . I still cannot believe you are gone . Each and every day of my life since one year ago I think of you and miss you more with each passing day . Love you John??

September 11th marks 5 months since my brother John was taken from us . I miss him so dearly and wish everyday I could have one last day to be with him to say goodbye . To my true angel in heaven I love and miss you more than words can say . May your soul rest peacefully now dear brother ??

First to my brother , I love u with all my heart and the pain of missing u is intense . I still find it so difficult realizing u r really gone . I would give anything to have u back . Rest peacefully my brother knowing tony and I will always b there for tommy and kimmie.

Uncle John, you will always and forever be terribly missed and never forgotten. Aunt Anita, Vickie, Michelle and family, I was so sorry to hear of John's passing. I remember so many summer evenings spent at the cottage with my dad, mom, Jody, David and Jimmy fishing and spending time with John. I am sorry that I could not make it to the funeral today, but my heart, thoughts and prayers were there with all of you. May God bless our family during this difficult time.

To Our Family: Words cannot express how sad we were when Michele called and told us that John had passed away. Many fond memories as he was growing up and the times we had at Grandma and Grandpa Perrys and also Grandma and Grandpa Lewis's homes. Karl and John sure could get into alot of trouble but that was ok. John is now up with all our relatives. It is always hard to wonder why God takes some of the people, but he does have a plan and one we will never understand. Just know that we now have another shining star in the sky and he is watching over all of us. You are in our prayers.
