Joseph Lawrence Adamosky
of Waltha, NC
formerly of Windsor
Joseph Lawrence Adamosky, 80, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2009 in a Hospice Care Facility in NC. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; and a stepdaughter, Christina Culbreth of NC. He is also survived by his children, Diane, Susan, Linda and Mary, David, Thomas and John. He had several grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Florida. He also leaves behind two sisters and a brother-in-law, Emily Ostrander of Vestal, NY, Agnes and Ray Hartz of Windsor, NY; and a brother, John Adamosky of Harpursville, NY; and several nieces and nephews. He graduated from Windsor Central School in 1948. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a carpenter and mechanic before moving to Florida with his family. While in Florida, he owned and operated "Joe's Marine Boat Repair." In later years, he moved to NC and owned another boat shop until he retired. Joe loved the water and fishing. When visiting his family in NY, he and his brother enjoyed rattlesnake hunting together.
There was no service at his request. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850.

I would likr to offer my condolences to his sister-in-law, if she was formerly Emily Adamossky and a classmate of mine, class of '44 Windsor. May God give his family peace.
