My deepest condolences to the all my cousins and especially Aunt Carol. I will miss him. I'll always remember the summers you all would come to Connecticut. We spend the day at the beach and at night when all of 12+ of us kids were still showing no signs of slowing down at 11:30 pm. Uncle Joe would pile us al into the car and we's head to the grocery store. He give us all a dollar and we had to come up with something to eat and/or BBQ. There we all were running around the grocery store and most often the only ones in the store at that hour. Uncle Joe would be talking to the few remaining cashiers explaining how to keep that many kids occupied and most often making them laugh at which he was so talented. I always loved seeing him as it meant a lot laughter was forthcoming usually in the form of several jokes and non sequiturs. I will miss him and knowing he's in the world making someone laugh

Dear Carol and family,
I am so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. I always looked forward to his Christmas letters with all the news about his family and his exploits. Joe hired me at IBM Endicott and this photo reminds me of those times. He was always a jokester, good at his profession and loved his family. He always took an interest in what my daughters were up to, and I enjoyed sharing what they and I were doing. Peace to all of you, and I hope your memories with your husband/dad/grandfather will help you at this time. Love Karen Knight
