Lonnie Fisher Obituary

Lonnie L. Fisher

Hallstead, PA - Lonnie L. Fisher, 59, entered into rest on November 14, 2018 following a courageous battle with melanoma. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, LoriAnn. Lonnie is also survived by a beloved daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Christopher Brown; his siblings, Ronnie and Barb Fisher, Connie and Jack Margets, Donnie and Susan Fisher, and Bonnie and Kenny Gumaer; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alan and Mary Ellen Logan; a brother-in-law Alan Logan Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, including, Rick and Theresa Rickard and family, Cindy and Jim Gillespie and family, Terry Franks and family, Susan and David Callendar, Rick and Dawn Franks, Richard and Teri Fancher, Lonnie's Amphenol family of co-workers, Patti Smith and all of Lori's clients. Lonnie was predeceased by his parents, Ronald C. Fisher in 2011 and Eleanor "Kewpie" Fisher, three days prior. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the UHS Neuro Critical Care Team, Dr. Harris, Dr. Yalamanchili and staff, Dr. Haq and staff, Dr. Eder, and especially the entire team on North Tower II at Wilson Hospital. We wouldn't be the same without your caring support. Lonnie was a Product Design Engineer with 30 years of employment with Amphenol. He loved his work and was the proud owner of 4 patents. Lonnie served on the Blue Ridge School Board for 10 years. He was a member and an adjutant of the Son's of the V.F.W. Post #6223 and also a member and the finance officer of the Son's of the American Legion Post #357. Lonnie's favorite vacation location was on the beach, especially at Wildwood, NJ with all his family and friends. He enjoyed using his boat, golfing, woodworking, singing karaoke, and dancing. He was famous for starting many projects and never finishing them due to his extreme perfectionism. Lonnie consistently volunteered to help others and wanted nothing in return. His vibrant personality and ever present smile will be dearly missed. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 19, 2018 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc. Hallstead, PA. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Melanoma Foundation, 8929 University Center Lane, Suite 202, San Diego, CA 92122 or the American Legion Post #357, P.O. Box 429, Hallstead, PA 18822 or the V.F.W. Post #6223, 386 Main Street, Great Bend, PA 18821.
