of Kirkwood, N.Y.Mable Corbin Hartman, 78, of Kirkwood, N.Y., died Monday, January 2, 2006, at Endless Mountains Health Systems, Montrose, Pa. Born October 13, 1927 in Binghamton, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Lillian Hill. Her husband of 17 years, Lawrence E. Hartman survives her. Additionally, survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Elaine M. Henry, Montrose, Pa., Vicky and Gary Walker, Blountstown, Fla.; son and daughters-in-law, Thomas A. and Linda Corbin, Susquehanna, Pa., and Rosie Corbin, Lakeside, Pa.; eight grandchildren, Scott (wife Tina), Shawn (fiancee Carol), Michael, Ashley, Irene, Edward, Jason (wife Candy), Nathan; ten great-grandchildren, Dianna, Justina, Austin, Kristie, Shannon, Dylan, Cavin, Devin, Trinity and Keri; a sister, Lillian Pease, Port Crane, N.Y.; stepdaughters, Rebecca, Windsor, N.Y., Barbara, Candor, N.Y.; stepson, Harry, N.Y.; several step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Vincent J. Corbin in 1975; her stepmother, Mable Hill; a son, Edward V. Corbin; son-in-law, Mike Henry; three sisters, Dot, Evelyn and Marian; three brothers, Robert, Mickey and Alvin.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2006, at the Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., a Selected Independent Funeral Home, 74 Church Street, Montrose, Pa. The family received friends one hour prior to services on Friday.
