Margaret "Marge" Burchell Croucher
of Johnson City
Margaret Marge Burchell Croucher, 79, of Johnson City, died on Friday, February 16, 2007, at Wilson Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Jack Croucher, Johnson City; son and daughter-in-law, David and Helene Croucher, Binghamton; brother and sister-in-law, Norman John and Maggie Burchell, Georgia; sisters and brother-in-law, Edna Mae Stack, Conklin, Dorothy Bors, Johnson City, Shirley and Fred Clark, Johnson City, Sandra Drake, Binghamton; grandchildren, James Kurtz, Sara Kurtz, Jenna Croucher, Marrah Croucher; great-granddaughters, Brianna and Kayla; also several nieces and nephews. Marge loved crafts, crossword puzzles, and her Florida winters. She was a member of the East Maine Fire Company Auxiliary and the Blessed Sacrament Church, Johnson City. A wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and all around great person, a friend to all, she will be sorely missed and, based on her faith, she is now in the hands of God.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main Street, Johnson City, at 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-5 p.m. at the Barber Memorial Home. Donations in her memory may be made to CHOW or the American Heart Association. The family wishes to thank Dr. Abdelazim for his many years of care during her illness.
