Mary Yurecka Obituary
Mary (Bisaha) Yurecka died peacefully at Lourdes Hospital on August 4, 2017, in Binghamton, NY at the age of 90. Mary is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Thornton; son, Rick Yurecka; granddaughter, Melissa Thornton (Patrick Boyton); grandson, R.J. Yurecka; great-grandson, Will Boyton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary (Yetsko) Bisaha; father Alec Bisaha; husband, Milton Yurecka; daughter Joanie Yurecka; brothers, Alec, George, John, Steve, Mike, Joe and Paul Bisaha; and son-in-law, Richard Thornton. Mary was born on December 26, 1926, in Sonman, PA. She was very talented- a great cook, seamstress, quilter, and crocheter. Mary also enjoyed sharing the bounty of her vegetable and flower gardens. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. At Mary's request, there will be no viewing. Contributions in her name can be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation, PO Box 515, Northampton, Massachusetts -01061-0515. Arrangements made by AEGIS CREMATION & FUNERAL SERVICES, 196 Clinton St. Binghamton, New York.

Rick and extended families, I am so so sorry for the loss of your Mom. My thoughts, prayers and heart go out to you all at this very difficult time. May you all cherish the memories in your hearts. Your Dad and Mom can carry on together where they had left off. I had the honor to have met them both and I really enjoyed the company they gave. R.I.P. Mrs. Yurecka.
