Michael Paley Obituary
Endicott: Age 58, died at Wilson Hospital December 31, 2014 after an extended illness. He was predeceased by his father Jack Paley and is survived by his children, Ben (Kim) Paley (Apalachin), Kendra (Adam) Hunter (Apalachin), Morgan Paley, Matt and Josh Stanley (Endicott); grandchildren, Liam, Amelia, Leighton, Jayden, Maddox; mother, Therese Paley; three brothers and their wives, Thomas (Sue) of Endicott, John (Carol) of Moravia, Kevin (Cathy) of Endicott; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; close friend, Heather; childhood friends, Gary and Donna Robillard. Mike thoroughly enjoyed living the life he wanted to live. He loved talking and joking with everyone and anyone he met. No matter the circumstances he always found happiness in little things...Cliffy's homemade pickles, watching football and anything on the History Channel-but always Ancient Aliens, collecting literally everything, specifically eagles. He was extremely proud of his Irish heritage and wore Celtic rings and his Celtic cross tattoo with honor. Southern Rock and the Blues was the soundtrack to his life. In his younger years he loved coaching sports and going skiing with his family and friends on weekends. Traveling was a passion of his, and fortunately he was able to make one last trip out West in early December. Even through life's hardships and his illness he remained hopeful and optimistic. His glass was always half full. Mike was an avid motorcyclist who couldn't get enough biking. Didn't matter what the weather was, if the Harley started he rode. Now he is no longer in pain and riding with eagles he loved so much. At Mike's request, a get together will be held in his honor at a future date. Forever Two Wheels.

I will remember Michael as the brother I never had. He was technically my brother in law for many years & during that time he was a huge part of our family. He was a fabulous Uncle to my son Josh, a very funny man & I will cherish the good memories we shared. Ben & Kendra I am so very sorry, I know loosing a dad is very hard. Tom, John and Kevin, I am very sorry to hear about Mike. I often think about you all when I think about the people in the Apalachin area and remember the good times we had during our Scouting days in the earlier years when we were at Camp Barton and Camp Gardner.
