Norman Voorhees Obituary
Endicott - Norman A. Voorhees, 84 of Endicott, NY passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday July 28, 2020. Norman was born in Meadville, PA on August 13, 1935 to the late Albert and Frances (Adsit) Voorhees. He was predeceased by grandson Joshua Stuber. Norman is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary. Four children Diana Stuber of Syracuse, NY, Jeffrey of Dillon, Colorado, J. Michael and daughter-in-law Erin of Homer, NY, and Jennifer and partner Stephen Wanchissen of Endwell, NY. Grandchildren Aaron Stuber and wife Mandy, David, Kaleb, Zosia, and Maksim Voorhees. Four great granddaughters, and several cousins.
Norman graduated from Meadville High School in 1953, he was a gifted athlete, but excelled at basketball. He attended Bucknell University on a full basketball scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance in 1957. He served in the United States Army, and retired from Universal Instruments in 1998.
There will be no services at this time. The family will hold a private memorial at their convenience. Expressions of sympathy in Norman's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
