NORMAN L. WILBUR
of Binghamton
Norman L. Wilbur, 75, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2001 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Joan Wilbur; his children, son, Richard (Willy) Wilbur, Tucson, Ariz.; son and daughter-in-law, John and Teresa Wilbur, Vestal and their children, Jennifer, Kristen and Lauren; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Brian Lalli, Binghamton and their children, Sarah, Evan and Jeremiah; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Tim Mieczkowski, Binghamton and their children, Kyle, Morgan and Griffin; brothers and sisters, Bud and Marion Wilbur, Calif., Mildred and Merlin Keeler, Va., Walter Foote, Apalachin, Charlotte Anderson Kaminsky, Binghamton, Irving and Christine Wilbur, Binghamton; many nieces, nephews and friends. Norman was a member of the Ogden-Hillcrest United Methodist Church, a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired employee of GAF since 1979. One of the recent special occasions in his life was the surprise 75th birthday party given by his children in August 2001. Memorial services will be held Thursday 11 a.m. at the Ogden-Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 1061 Chenango St., Hillcrest with the Rev. Alan Jagger officiating. Committal to follow at Chenango Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Ave., Binghamton on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Those wishing, may make memorial contributions to the Ogden Hillcrest United Methodist Church Look to the future fund, or to the Hillcrest Fire Department/Rescue Squad in Norm's memory.
