Raymond R. Pennay
of Binghamton
Raymond R. Pennay, 59, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2009. He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and June Pennay; and his brother, Richard. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cindi and Naquon Shirer; his son, Kirk Pennay; six grandsons; his ex-wife, Dawn Pennay; four brothers, Donald, Robert, Dennis and William Pennay; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Raymond was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps.
The family will receive friends at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton on Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.

Cindi and Kirk,
I know how hard this is just going through it ourselves this past year. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I'll miss Uncle Ray's laugh and great wit. He picked up my dad often when he lived with us and kidding around was always counted on, and you know your dad, he always delivered lol. He was a great guy. I'll miss him much. Keep in touch.
