Rhoda Edwards Obituary
Madison, WI - Rhoda Mae (Robertson) Edwards, 92, passed away on Sept. 2, 2018. She was born on Aug. 1, 1926 in St. Clair, PA to Norman and Florence Robertson. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Frederic Edwards; her sister Amy and brother Norman. Rhoda is survived by her children and their spouses, Robin (James) Heimberger, Eric (Lori) Edwards, and Donna (Michael) Crane; seven grandchildren, Amy (Alberto) Heimberger Lopez, Jeffrey (Katelyn) and Mark Heimberger; Jennifer (Thomas) Sanford, Jessica (Julio) Gurrea; and Kathleen and Jonathan (Lisa) Crane; ten great-grandchildren; and her brother Donald (Barbara) Robertson.
She was a graduate of St. Clair High School and Bucknell Univ. and attended graduate school at Penn State Univ. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Endicott, NY for over 60 years.
Rhoda taught Spanish in St. Clair then, after marrying, moved to NY where she taught math for many years at the Maine-Endwell Junior High School. In retirement she enjoyed traveling extensively with her husband, volunteering for Meals on Wheels, and tutoring. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and doing puzzles.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sat., Sept. 15 at 1 pm at the First Baptist Church of Endicott, 1406 Monroe St., Endicott, NY. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 pm until service time. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, St. Clair, PA.

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I am out of town this weekend and won't be able to attend the memorial service, but the memories of neighbors and neighborhood are in tact. Me and my wife Mary Ann offer our sincere condolences. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
